Allevia Hospital Epsom

Allevia Hospital, one of New Zealand’s leading private healthcare providers located in Auckland’s Epsom, required effective ventilation for critical ground floor plant and service areas as part of the facility’s development. Ventuer supplied a combination of weather and acoustic louvre systems, delivering reliable airflow, weather protection and noise attenuation while integrating seamlessly with the hospital’s architectural façade.

Allevia Hospital, located in Auckland's Epsom, is one of New Zealand's leading private healthcare providers, delivering specialist medical and surgical services within a modern healthcare environment. As part of the facility's development, effective ventilation was required for ground-floor service areas, including plant rooms, storage areas and other building support facilities.

To meet the project's ventilation requirements while maintaining the building's architectural integrity, Ventuer supplied a combination of weather and acoustic louvre systems, including the VL-2SD and VL-3SD Weather Protection Louvres, along with the AL-300W and AL-600W Acoustic Weather Louvres. Together, these systems provide reliable airflow throughout the building's essential ground-floor service areas.

These environments require dependable natural ventilation to support building operations and equipment performance, ensuring the hospital can operate reliably year-round. The ventilation solution needed to provide adequate airflow while protecting internal spaces from water ingress, integrating seamlessly with the building façade, delivering long-term durability, and meeting the project's airflow and acoustic performance requirements.

To address these challenges, Ventuer supplied a combination of weather and acoustic louvre systems tailored to the project's specific requirements.

The VL-2SD and VL-3SD Weather Protection Louvres provide high-performance, drainable weather protection while maintaining effective airflow. Their ability to minimise rain penetration makes them well suited to plant rooms and other critical service areas that support the hospital's ongoing operation.

The AL-300W and AL-600W Acoustic Weather Louvres complement the weather louvres by providing effective ventilation while reducing noise transmission from building services, helping minimise disturbance to patients and creating a quieter healthcare environment.

Together, these systems form a robust, integrated ventilation solution that compliments the building's architectural finish while delivering the airflow, weather protection and acoustic performance required for critical service areas.

The Allevia Hospital project demonstrates the importance of selecting ventilation products that combine performance, durability and architectural integration in demanding healthcare environments. Through the supply of weather and acoustic louvre systems, Ventuer contributed to a long-term ventilation solution that supports the reliable operation of one of New Zealand's leading private healthcare providers.
