Importance of Louvres in the Façade

In modern buildings, façade louvres are more than a ventilation detail. They sit at the intersection of envelope performance, mechanical systems, and occupant comfort. Exposed to wind and rain while directly connected to internal environments, their performance has a direct impact on how a building functions day to day.

Across sectors such as data centres, healthcare, and commercial developments, louvres are required to do more than simply allow air to pass through.
